Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY)

The Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) is the Government of India’s financial-inclusion scheme for providing basic banking access, savings, remittance, credit, insurance and pension facilities. A PMJDY/Basic Savings Bank Deposit account can be opened through a participating bank branch or Business Correspondent (Bank Mitra).
