How to Register & Apply on the Skill India Digital Hub (Step-by-Step)

Citizens can register independently via their smartphones or visit their nearest CSC center for assistance.

Step 1: Visit the Portal or Download the App Go to the official website (skillindiadigital.gov.in) or open the “Skill India Digital” App on your mobile device. Click the ‘Login / Register’ button on the homepage.

Step 2: Mobile Number Verification Enter your 10-digit mobile number. You will receive a 6-digit OTP. Enter the OTP to verify your number.

Step 3: Set Your Account PIN For security, you must set a 4-digit Security PIN. For all future logins, you will only need your mobile number and this specific PIN.

Step 4: Aadhaar e-KYC (Crucial Step) Once your account is created, you will see an option to ‘Complete Your Profile’ on the dashboard.

  • Enter your Aadhaar Number.
  • An OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.

How to Find PMKVY 4.0 Courses and Training Centres

  1. After logging in, click on the ‘Skill Courses’ tab.
  2. You can choose between Online Courses (which can be completed from home via mobile) or Offline/Physical Courses.
  3. For offline training, enter your district or state in the search bar.
  4. The portal will display a list of all Accredited Skill Centres near you and the courses they offer.
  5. Click on your preferred course and hit the ‘Enroll’ button.

How to Find Jobs & Apprenticeships

  4. Once logged in as a VLE, you can start registering youth visiting your center, helping them complete their e-KYC profiles, and enrolling them in relevant PMKVY courses.

  3. DigiLocker Integration: Because SIDH is fully integrated with DigiLocker, your skill certificate is automatically pushed to your DigiLocker account. This makes it instantly verifiable by future employers.
