State Wise Government Services Online | All States & UTs

State wise Government Services Portal – In India, the majority of essential citizen services—such as Income Certificates, Caste Certificates, Domicile Certificates, and Land Records (Khatauni)—are not issued by the Central Government, but by individual State Governments.

Under the ‘Digital India’ initiative, almost all states have launched their own dedicated e-District or RTPS (Right to Public Services) portals. Through these portals, citizens can apply for essential documents online from the comfort of their homes or via their nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) / e-Mitra.

On this page, we provide a comprehensive guide mapping out the official e-District portals of major Indian states, the primary services available, and the step-by-step process to apply online securely.

Government services can vary from one state to another, including certificates, land and revenue services, welfare schemes, agriculture services, transport facilities, education services, and many other citizen services.

Use the table below to quickly find your preferred state, check the major service areas available there, and select “View Services” to access the dedicated services page for that state. This makes it easier to find relevant government services without having to search through multiple departments or portals.

Andhra Pradesh | Arunachal Pradesh | Assam | Bihar | Chhattisgarh | Goa | Gujarat | Haryana | Himachal Pradesh | Jharkhand | Karnataka | Kerala | Madhya Pradesh | Maharashtra | Manipur | Meghalaya | Mizoram | Nagaland | Odisha | Punjab | Rajasthan | Sikkim | Tamil Nadu | Telangana | Tripura | Uttar Pradesh | Uttarakhand | West Bengal

Many important government services are managed through centralised national portals, which means citizens across India can access the same official portal regardless of their state or Union Territory.

These platforms are especially useful for services such as Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter Services, Driving Licence, Vehicle Services, Income Tax, GST, EPFO, digital documents, employment, agriculture, healthcare and grievance redressal.

Use the quick links below to directly access the relevant official Government of India portal instead of searching through individual state websites.

1. Major Services Available on State Portals

While portal names vary by state, the core services offered on e-District and RTPS platforms are universally similar across India:

  • Revenue Certificates: Applications for Income, Caste, Domicile, EWS (Economically Weaker Section), and Birth/Death certificates.
  • Land & Revenue Records: Access to Khasra-Khatauni copies, Bhu-Naksha (land maps), and Mutation (Dakhil-Kharij) applications.
  • Social Welfare Pensions: Applications for Old Age Pension, Widow Pension, and Disability Pension schemes.
  • Citizen Welfare: Scholarship applications, Marriage Registration/Grants, and Ration Card corrections or new member additions.

3. MeriPehchaan (National Single Sign-On)

To simplify digital access, the Government of India has launched ‘MeriPehchaan’ (National Single Sign-On).

  • The Benefit: Citizens no longer need to create separate User IDs and passwords for different state portals. If you have an active account on DigiLocker, Jan Parichay, or e-Pramaan, you can use those exact same credentials to log in seamlessly across multiple state e-District platforms.

4. How to Apply Online on State Portals

If you wish to apply for a certificate yourself (via Citizen Login), follow this standard procedure applicable to most state portals:

  1. Registration: Visit your state’s official portal (from the table above). Click on “Citizen Login” or “New User Registration”. Verify your mobile number and email ID via OTP.
  2. Login: Log in using your created credentials or via the MeriPehchaan SSO integration.
  3. Select Service: Navigate to the ‘Apply for Services’ dashboard and select the desired form (e.g., Issuance of Income Certificate).
  4. Fill Details: Accurately fill out the application form. Ensure names match your Aadhaar card perfectly.
  5. Upload Documents: Upload the required documents, usually including your Aadhaar card, a passport-sized photo, and the mandatory Self-Declaration Form (Swapramanit Ghoshna Patra). Compress files to under 100KB.
  6. Payment: Pay the mandatory government processing fee (usually between ₹10 to ₹30) via UPI, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
  7. Acknowledgement: Print or save the generated receipt. You can use the ‘Application Reference Number’ on this receipt to track your status later.

Common Problems & Solutions

  • Application Rejected at Tehsil Level: e-District applications are often rejected by the local Lekhpal/Patwari. Check the ‘Reason for Rejection’ in the Track Status menu. Common reasons include blurred document uploads, address mismatches, or failing to attach a freshly signed Self-Declaration form. Correct the error and submit a Fresh Application.
  • Payment Deducted but Receipt Not Generated: If the payment is deducted from your bank but the state portal crashes, do not pay again immediately. Use the ‘Verify Payment’ option on the portal, or wait 24 hours. Failed transactions are usually auto-refunded to the source account.
  • Digital Signature Verification: When you download the final approved certificate from the portal, it may show a ‘Question Mark (?)’ over the signature block. To validate it, open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader on a computer, click the signature panel, and select “Trust/Verify” to turn it into a Green Checkmark.

Services for VLEs / CSC Operators

State-specific government services may also be assisted through CSCs where the concerned service is available through the CSC ecosystem. CSCs are operated by Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs), but availability varies by service and state.

Help & Grievance

For service-related problems, users should use the official helpdesk or grievance mechanism of the concerned State department/portal. A single universal grievance system for all Statewise Services is not clearly specified on the official source.

Important Note

  • State services, eligibility, fees and application procedures vary by State/UT and service.
  • All India CSC Help is an independent platform, not a Government of India portal.
  • Always verify the final application, payment and document-download page on the relevant official government portal before proceeding.
