Gujarat Services: Digital Gujarat Portal, AnyROR Land Records & Schemes

Various administrative, revenue, and welfare services are made available online by the government for the residents of Gujarat. Thanks to ‘Digital India’ and e-governance initiatives, citizens of Gujarat no longer need to run around government offices or Mamlatdar offices for income certificates, caste certificates, residence certificates, or land records.

You can avail of all these services from the comfort of your home via your mobile phone or computer using the Digital Gujarat portal. On this page, we provide a complete, actionable guide to the Gujarat government’s most important services, online portals, and application procedures.

1. Digital Gujarat Portal (Certificates & Citizen Services)

The Digital Gujarat (www.digitalgujarat.gov.in) portal of the Government of Gujarat is the state’s integrated single-window platform, through which hundreds of services from various departments are delivered to citizens at home.

Major Services Available:

  • Income Certificate: Essential for educational scholarships and government scheme benefits.
  • Caste Certificate: Required for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC/OBC) categories.
  • Domicile / Residence Certificate: Official proof of being a local resident of Gujarat.
  • Senior Citizen Certificate: For various elder welfare schemes and utility concessions.

How to Apply Online on Digital Gujarat

  1. Visit the official website: www.digitalgujarat.gov.in.
  2. Click on “Register” as a new user to create your account (a mobile number and email ID are mandatory). You can log in using either your mobile number or email ID.
  3. After logging in, select your preferred language (Gujarati / English) and navigate to the “Request For Service” section.
  4. Search for your desired certificate (e.g., Income Certificate) under the relevant department and click on “Continue to Service”.
  5. Accurately fill out the online form and upload the necessary supporting documents (such as your Aadhaar card, ration card, and affidavit) in PDF or JPG format.
  6. Pay the required government fees online. Upon submission, you will receive an Application Request Number, which you can use to track the status of your application.

2. AnyROR Gujarat (Land Records: 7/12 & 8-A)

Land records are made available online by the Revenue Department of Gujarat through the dedicated AnyROR (Any Records of Rights) portal.

  • 7/12 Extract (Satbara Utara): Form 7/12 is the most crucial document in Gujarat for verifying land ownership, survey numbers, and area details.
  • 8-A (Khata Details): Used to check the total land parcels and ownership details held by a specific landowner.
  • How to Check: You can view and verify 7/12 extracts, 8-A details, and property mutation records online for both rural and urban areas through the official AnyROR Gujarat website (anyror.gujarat.gov.in).

3. Major Gujarat Welfare Schemes

The Government of Gujarat runs several progressive welfare schemes targeting students, women, and vulnerable families:

  • Namo Laxmi Yojana / Namo Saraswati Vigyan Sadhana: Designed to provide financial assistance to girl students to encourage higher education and science streams.
  • Mukhyamantri Amrutum (MA) Yojana / PM-JAY: Providing free health insurance coverage and cashless medical treatment to economically weaker families in the state.

Common Problems & Solutions

  • Digital Gujarat Login OTP Issue: If you do not receive an OTP on your mobile phone while logging into the portal, check your network connection or try again after some time. Ensure your mobile number is correctly linked to your user profile.
  • Document Upload Size Error: Uploaded documents must strictly adhere to the portal’s file size limits. Always compress your files before uploading to avoid upload failures.
  • AnyROR Server Slowness: Due to heavy traffic, the AnyROR portal can occasionally experience slowdowns when fetching land records. Refresh the page or try again during off-peak hours.

Services for VLEs / CSC Operators

Gujarat officially uses e-Gram centres, Jan Seva Kendra and other assisted service channels for Digital Gujarat services. Digital Seva Setu also delivers citizen services through e-Gram centres at village level.

A separate public VLE registration/operator-login link is not clearly specified on the official source.

Help & Grievance

Digital Gujarat Helpdesk: The official Digital Gujarat portal provides citizen helpdesk support; a current dedicated public helpdesk URL/number is not clearly specified on the official source.

Important Note

  • Eligibility, documents, fees and processing requirements vary by service.
  • Citizens can use the online model or visit an authorised Jan Seva Kendra/e-Gram centre for assisted service delivery.
  • Use the official Digital Gujarat portal for applications and service-status information; avoid unofficial service websites.
